Sync Verizon Phone Contacts from a Mac

Have you ever wanted to sync your bluetooth equipped cell phone to your Mac? Well, I just switched to Verizon and picked up the LG enV (a.k.a. VX9900) and didn’t want to manually enter my contacts. I found bits and pieces here and there, but did not find a concise guide to the process.

Moving to New Orleans

Greetings to all. Big news for the Milby’s (Brian and Angie) – we’re moving to New Orleans. I was just selected to take over the NMCI site down there and will heading down the first part of July. Things happened so quickly that our heads are still spinning. I’m excited about the new opportunity but will miss all of the friends that we’ve made here in Athens.

Merry Christmas 2006

Greetings everyone. Today is Christmas day and we have a new theme thanks to Joanna who picked it out. I’m thankful to be home this year, but will be leaving shortly to head back to Iraq.

Happy New Year!

I had a great time doing my first New Year’s Day Dive at Lake Lanier. Water was cold and I couldn’t move my hands very well by the time I got out, but it was fun!

This was my first offical dive as a Lake Lanier Loonie Bird. What a great way to be initiated. After the dive we were able to have a picnic and enjoy some good food. You can see some of the pictures over at Scuba Board.

Christmas 2005

Merry Christmas!

Yes, that’s right. I said “Merry Christmas”. It’s just amazing to me how the PC crowd wants to take Christ out of Christmas when He is the very reason that we are celebrating it in the first place.

I had a wonderful time this year getting up to Virginia once again to see my family. My soon-to-be brother-in-law was there. It was good to finally meet Ferrell. Looking forward to the wedding coming up in May.

November Pictures

Angie has posted her November photo album on .Mac. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Nov 25 Dive Report

Today was my first dive in cold water. I met some friends from the Scuba Board ( for the early afternoon dive at Lake Lanier West Bank Park. Allen, Jeremy, Kyle and I met at noon and did a 38 minute dive in water that started at 59 and got colder. Don’t know exactly how cold it got, but Jeremy said that he saw temps in the 40′s on his computer. I’ll download my computer later and see what it registered as the low temp. This was dive number 23 so I just need one more to get my Advanced Open Water card. If not sooner, I’ll get it New Year’s Day.

Today is Thanksgiving in the US. I think that is is appropriate to start this blog with a post on what we are thankful for. To start off, I’m thankful for Jesus coming to earth 2000 years ago to die for my sins. I’m also thankful for my wonderful wife Angie and my darling daughter Joanna (JoJo). There are so many things to be thankful for such as my family, the house we live in, the great job that I have, the great church that I’m a part of and so many more. Take today and reflect in what you are thankful for.
